Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of safety protocols, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Provide safety training and education to employees.
- Investigate and report on incidents and accidents.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, WSH and other safety regulations.
- Maintain safety records and documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications :
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, WSH) is preferred.WSQ certification is recognised as wellProven experience as a Safety Coordinator / Officer or in a similar role.In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, WSH standards and safety regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and analytical abilities.Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.Tell employers what skills you have
