Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
To support SG Fixed Income Sales & Trading (“FIST”) business through middle office function (trade support), Know Your Customer (“KYC”).
Job Responsibilities
Middle Office – Trade settlements
- Main coverage for FIST Middle Office function, specifically handling trade booking and settlements as well as team revenue tracking. Working closely with HK FIST Middle Office team.
- Trade booking and settlement are done smoothly without regulatory breaches or errors.
KYC / client-onboarding
Handling SG FIST team’s KYC process for new client account onboarding and periodic KYC reviews for existing clients. To work closely with team members, SG compliance, HK KYC team and SMBC BI KYC team.Customer’s KYC is completed within set due deadlines so that the business can maintain business with new / existing customers.Other Admin
Support team for business administrative tasks, such as travel arrangement, submission of E&G (entertainment and gifts) visa application and settlement of such expenses.Team’s administrative work are handled within set timeline without errors or internal policy breachOther general support / help as required and any other tasks deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the FIST Department.Job Requirements
Minimum diploma holder in a relevant field of studyMinimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the banking and financial industryBusiness proficiency in English for the purpose of communicating with internal and external stakeholdersExperience in Fixed Income middle office, trade support and settlement & understanding of KYC processProficiency in Bloomberg TOMS is advantageous, Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPointKey Competencies
