Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Perform basic and detailed hardware design, including cabinet layout (System / Marshalling), hardware sizing, IO list management, wiring schematics, and bill of materials.
- Prepare, review, and manage engineering documentation in compliance with international standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Affiliates, EPCs, and Clients to understand technical requirements and ensure proper implementation.
- Drive hardware-related procurement, including vendor interactions, technical clarifications, and support for buy-out packages.
- Conduct and lead FAT / IFAT / SAT (Factory Acceptance Tests / Integrated FAT / Site Acceptance Tests) activities.
- Provide on-site support for installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Manage and mentor a team of hardware engineers, ensuring timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with Project and Engineering Managers for complete hardware solution delivery.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.Minimum 8 yeas of experience in hardware engineering for DCS / PLC-based industrial automation projects.Certification or formal training in DCS / PLC systems is a plus.Experience working in an EPC or system integrator environment is advantageousProficient in hardware sizing, IO database management,cabinet design, and system integration.Experienced in preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables like wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, termination drawings, etc.Sound knowledge of international standards related to industrial automation hardware (e.g., IEC, ISA).Hands-on experience with FAT / IFAT / SAT processes and site support activities.Interaction with site contractors and end user client for Installation and commissioning.Exposure to Yokogawa systems (CENTUM, ProSafe-RS, etc.) will be preferred.By responding to Yokogawa’s advertisement, consent is considered given to Yokogawa to collect the required personal data for the purpose of recruitment with expectation that Yokogawa will protect personal data with security safeguards that are reasonable and appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal data, to protect it from unauthorized access, use or disclosure and complies with applicable regulatory requirements with respect to the retention of personal data.
