Our client, an impact investment firm, is hiring a seasoned investment professional to take on a senior leadership role, guiding investment strategy, leading transactions, and mentoring a high-performing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Drive sector-specific investment thesis development and pipeline building.
  • Lead sourcing, screening, and evaluation of impactful investment opportunities.
  • Provide strategic oversight across the full investment lifecycle—from origination to exit.
  • Lead due diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring, and negotiations.
  • Represent the firm on portfolio company boards, supporting value creation and strategic growth.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and guide exit strategies.
  • Support fundraising efforts and manage investor relations (LPs).
  • Represent the firm externally with founders, co-investors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to institutional knowledge development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax, compliance, and finance stakeholders to ensure transaction integrity and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
  • Strong track record of deal leadership and board participation.
  • Deep sector experience in one or more of the following : healthcare, education, sustainability, or energy transition.
  • Robust knowledge of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and due diligence processes.
  • Exposure to emerging markets or pan-Asian investments.
  • Passionate about impact investing and experienced with impact measurement frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of engaging senior stakeholders and investment committees.
  • Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. CFA or MBA qualifications are advantageous.
