Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

An excellent opportunity for a Trade Analyst to join a leading banking firm on a 12-month contract. This role provides exposure to Treasury & Markets operations, focusing on Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities, and Options products across multiple regional markets. The role involves trade validation, settlements, reconciliations, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Must have Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline;
  • Must have knowledge of Treasury & Markets products (derivatives, commodities, or options);
  • Must have good proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting;
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Desired Skill-set

  • Prior 1–3 years or internship experience in trade operations or financial markets support;
  • Familiarity with trade life cycle management and settlement processes;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for Treasury & Markets trades, from booking to expiry;
  • Validate trades against source documents in Murex or Front Arena systems;
  • Support payment authorization and settlement processes for Treasury products;
  • Perform trade fixing and coordinate with counterparties and internal stakeholders;
  • Monitor payment processes, handle unmatched / alleged trades, and escalate exceptions when required;
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks within defined timelines;
  • Manage pre- and post-trade inquiries via email or SWIFT;
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to improve processes and operational efficiency;
  • Conduct data analysis and support subject matter experts on reporting and problem-solving.
