Roles & Responsibilities
The Assistant Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of sales strategies, managing client relationships, and driving business growth within the industrial equipment / oil and Gas / energy sectors and Marine Sector. This position requires a commercially astute professional with strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of technical sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in implementing sales plans and achieving revenue targets across assigned territories or product lines.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and product documentation in coordination with engineering and product teams.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic sales decisions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and resolution of client issues.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.Sales preferably within industrial equipment, energy, or technical services.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into client value propositions.Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.Tell employers what skills you have
