Description

Lindner Facades Asia Pte Ltd is seeking the dedicatedand detail-oriented Facade QA/QC Engineers to join our dynamic quality assurance team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all facade installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process. You will play a key role in evaluating materials, monitoring construction techniques, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement Corporate QEHS Policy and Procedures on assigned Projects.
• Ensure the requirements of Project Quality Plan/Manual is implemented and adhered to the assigned Projects.
• Physical checks and audits of pre-assembly works and fabricated items prior to be delivered to site for installation.
• Co-ordinate in process and post process inspections of all steel works and façade elements from Sub-contractors in accordance with Project Quality and Site delivery requirements.
• Inspect Sub-Contractors’ factories to ensure Project QA/QC requirements have been implemented & followed.
• Coordinate and supervise site activities focusing on facade quality, including material delivery inspections andinstallation inspection of facade materials and assemblies to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Liaise with Clients' and Sub-Contractors' Quality representatives.
• Participate in audits by Clients' team of the Company's system implemented on assigned Projects.
• Investigate and document and resolve any Clients' complaints about Quality.
• Make recommendations to Project team regarding improvements on Quality.
• Assist Project and QA/QC Manager in inspection and testing as necessary.
• Liaise with Independent Inspection and Testing Agency in respect of factory and Site inspections in line with Project Specification requirements.
• Investigation of Quality deficiencies and implementation of corrective action as well as recommendation for preventive actions.
• Identify and document Quality problems, seek solutions and verify the implementation of solutions.
• Checking that all non-conforming materials, components, and equipment are promptly identified and segregated pending their final disposition.
• Liaise with RE/RTO and all other parties in respect of inspection and handing over of installed steel and facade elements.
• Coordinate with the managers and supervisors of the projects.
• Responsible for closure of Non-conformance reports and Site Instruction.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 ~ 5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in facade construction.
• Computer knowledge: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of facade materials, construction methodologies, and relevant building codes.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection techniques specific to facade systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
