About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Technician to support active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role within a high-performing team, ideal for individuals passionate about operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations
- Execute batch manufacturing and cleaning procedures in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards
- Operate and troubleshoot production equipment and systems (e.g., DeltaV, POMS)
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and ensure readiness for production
- Support digitalization and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure accurate shift handovers and effective communication across teams
Safety & Compliance
Uphold EHS standards and participate in safety risk assessments and hazard analysesContribute to a safe working environment and serve on the Emergency Response TeamQuality Assurance
Complete GMP documentation accurately and promptlyAssist in resolving documentation discrepancies and support investigationsMaintain audit readiness and ensure plant cleanlinessProduction Coordination
Monitor production schedules and proactively address potential delaysCollaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet output targetsQualifications & Experience
Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related technical discipline1–3 years of experience in GMP manufacturing, preferably in API productionProficiency in distributed control systems (e.g., DeltaV)Strong understanding of GMP, EHS, and manufacturing documentationEffective communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Skills
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with digital manufacturing systems and automation technologiesAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, shift-based environmentWe regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
