Job descriptionSales and Negotiation : High-level negotiating skills are essential to secure favorable terms with insurers and effectively communicate options to clients. Communication & Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication skills are needed to build relationships with clients and effectively explain complex insurance details. Analytical & Detail-Oriented : Ability to analyze client needs, assess risks, and pay close attention to policy details. Market & Product Knowledge : In-depth understanding of different types of insurance products and the broader insurance market. Relationship Building : Strong ability to build rapport with both clients and insurance companies.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Needs Assessment : Analyze a client's financial situation and risk profile to understand their insurance requirements.
- Product Knowledge & Recommendation : Advise clients on various insurance options and recommend policies that best meet their needs.
- Policy Negotiation : Negotiate with insurance companies to secure the best possible coverage and rates for clients.
- Account Management : Handle policy renewals, policy changes, and provide ongoing support to clients.
- Claims Assistance : Assist clients throughout the claims process, advocating for fair settlements.
- Market Monitoring : Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and new insurance products.
