Project Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM) / Senior Project Manager (SPM) / Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise the PRPM / SPM / PM on-site quality and safety issues
• Determine any non-conformances on works
• Liaise with the Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure that decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
• Provide feedback to the PRPM / SPM / PM on quality and safety matters and suggests quality improvement measures for implementation on site
• Supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site

• Assist in the operating of the PMCC
