Located in Singapore, Bentley Motors Asia Pacific is responsible for the operational and strategic business development in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and Taiwan.
Job Responsibilites
Functional lead for entire regional sales operations including new and used car business
- Leadership of APAC Sales team
- Development of team objectives as well as regular reviews and steering
- Motivates and leads from functional perspective the regional sales team
- Take ownership over various cross-regional and cross-functional aligment platforms and frameworks
Owns short- / mid- & long-term sales planning
Regular target KPI performance planning including financial KPIsDevelopment and implementation of countermeasures where necessaryOwnership of regional, annual sales planning round processAlignment with sub hubs for transparency over planning and respective steer from a regional perspectiveRegular maintenance and development of the BMAP planning and reporting landscapeResponsible for regional new car certification requirements in line with regional legal laws & regulations
Regular alignment and steering with BML to ensure compliance with local market regulationsOptimisation of market approval timelines for fastest time to marketManages and steers Bentley Product & Pricing requirements in Asia Pacific
Monitor and steer Bentley’s market specific retail price positioning (nominal and option adjusted) for all Bentley models in all Asia Pacific markets;Develop and evolve a Product & Pricing Strategy for Asia Pacific based on competitive product & pricing environment as well as by considering Bentley Motors' central derivative strategy;Liaise with central Finance department to evaluate product & pricing recommendations from a profit contribution and 'Vetriebsleistung' perspective;Actively analyse and influence Bentley Asia Pacific related volume scenarios based on centrally defined price & product strategy / development as part of annual long-range planning processes.Develops and implements (strategic-) new sales projects for Bentley within Asia Pacific that will contribute to further market share exploitation (volumes)
Development and contribution to regional sales growth strategiy in close alignment with Beyond100+Support in development and execution of sub hub related market strategiesSupport and contribution in regionalisation of Bentley’s global strategyBudget Management
Tracking of Regional Sales tactical budgetsCompletion and submission for approval of Tactical Spend forms and raising of Purchase Order RequisitionsEnsure tactical program implementation and respective claims process are compliant through multiple-eye principlesJob Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or related major; Master’s Degree in equivalent field desiredMinimum 10 years relevant working experience in automotive industry on an OEM or dealer management levelAnalytical and conceptual thinking, creative and strategic with comprehensive problem solving skillsPossess broad commercial experience with high degree of financial acumen and understandingProven ability to work cross-functionally, across a heterogeneous region and to lead / motivate the teamAbility to represent professionally the Bentley brand to external counter parts, to influence on all levelsOpen for extensive travelling within the Asia Pacific region and globallyActs with great sense of ownership, compliance and integrity.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
