Job Description

  • Lead Teacher in a classroom setting for children with learning, behavioural and developmental needs
  • Conduct individual and group EIP therapy sessions for children with learning, behavioural and developmental issues
  • Work with team to plan and implement social, emotional and / or behavioural interventions.
  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments and therapy services as necessary
  • Develop intervention and lesson plans for individuals and group EIP programs
  • Develop and apply holistic teaching methods and approaches, strategies and tools
  • Provide thorough documentation and timely communication of progress and interventions
  • Collaborate with therapists and other allied health professionals in the EIP Team
  • Attend team meetings and professional development

Minimum Requirements :

  • Diploma or Degree in Special Education or Early Intervention
  • Experience in Early Intervention preferred
  • Have a strong command of English and have good organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and yet be a good team player
