Job Purpose
To supervise the governance of models, administer the budget for the central modeling team, and coordinate essential committee meetings.
What you do
You will
Regional model governance
- Oversee the Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) model change approval framework
- Coordinate quarterly model changes from local entities and ensure alignment with the model governance framework
- Organize quarterly AZAP Assumption Committee meetings to address model and assumption changes in accordance with the governance framework
Central modelling team
Manage the budget for the team and Allianz Technology charges for local entiries and monitor spendings diligentlyOversee modelling exercises and ensure coherrent modelling approach across entitiesCoordinate Regional Modelling Steering Committee meetingSupport in Regional M&A deal :
Review the projection model and coordinate with other functionsEnsure all Group KPIs are produced for Group M&A approval processWhat you bring
More than 8+ years experience in insurance industry of which at least 5+ years of working experience in actuarial function in a dynamic insurance industryAble to work independentlyWork well in team and good interpersonal skill is essentialWilling to travel within AsiaGo od understanding of IFRS 17 StandardExp erience in financial analysisProficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office suite, Visual Basic and PowerPointProven ability to multi-task and work under pressureAble to speak other Asian language, e.g. mandarinEffective stakeholder management skills, with ability to communicate to a wide variety of levelBachelor’s degree in Actuarial or equivalentIs qualified or nearly-Qualified actuaryEager to take on the challenges of future new actuarial requirements changeAI future skills e.g. ChatGPT is an advantageWhat we offer
