As part of the Cargo Sales team , you will not only achieve revenue goals but also build long-lasting partnerships across industries and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Performance : Achieve and exceed cargo sales targets by actively promoting our airline’s cargo solutions.
- Develop New Business : Identify growth opportunities, build new accounts, and expand market share across diverse industries.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong partnerships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and direct customers by delivering outstanding service and consistent follow-up.
- Tailored Solutions : Understand client needs and design customized transport solutions aligned with the airline’s cargo capabilities.
- Market Intelligence : Stay ahead of industry trends by monitoring competitor activities, customer behaviours, and market developments. Provide insights and forecasts to management.
- Collaboration & Delivery : Work closely with cargo operations, customer service, and station teams to ensure smooth and reliable end-to-end service for customers.
- Industry Presence : Represent the airline at industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings to strengthen brand visibility and create new opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in the airline, cargo, or logistics industry .Solid understanding of airline operations ; prior cargo sales experience is a strong advantage.Good working knowledge of export / import regulations, cross-trade shipments, and documentation requirements .Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) for reporting, presentations, and client communication.Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred.Customer-focused with a professional and approachable demeanour; able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Proactive and self-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision.A collaborative team player who thrives in multicultural and fast-paced environments.Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy.Safety-conscious mindset, with commitment to compliance and operational excellence.If you are a motivated sales leader with a passion for Cargo Sales and team success, we’d love to hear from you!
