We are seeking a talented and ambitious candidate to join our
team in developing next-generation quantum sensors. The project
focuses on creating a mesoscopic-scale "artificial atom" through
superconducting levitation of a ferromagnetic particle. This
levitated, freely precessing particle represents a system of
correlated spins, capable of rapidly averaging quantum uncertainty.
By leveraging this system, we aim to develop quantum sensors with
sensitivities surpassing the standard quantum
limits.
This position is based in A
Innovation Centre (Q.InC). The successful candidate will contribute
to a range of innovative activities,
including : Key
Responsibilities :
Development of high-performance sources to generate
squeezed light.
Characterizing the squeezed
light.
Modeling the dynamics of the levitated
particle
Microfabrication of the particle,
silicon pocket, and superconducting materials
Develop a hybrid motion tracking system integrating SQUID
technology with squeezed light
techniques.
Requirements :
Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Precise
Instrumentation, or related fields
Strong
motivation for multidisciplinary research
Prior experience in superconductivity and / or quantum
sensing is highly preferred
Proficiency in
programming languages such as Python or MATLAB
Strong teamwork and communication
skills
The above
eligibility criteria are not exhaustive. A
additional selection criteria based on its prevailing recruitment
policies. These policies may be amended from time to time without
notice. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be
notified.
