Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Executive, you will lead an operations team within our Cargo Terminal Operations to achieve operational excellence in import or export cargo operations. You will plan and introduce work improvement methods by conducting work-studies on processes with emphasis on staff deployment, technology adoption, safety and regulatory compliance.

• Ensure that staff, equipment and other resources are planned for and deployed efficiently to meet operational requirements;
• Prepare and monitor capital, operating, manpower and IT budgets with regular reviews of operating expenses and manpower issues;
• Initiate recommendations to improve key performance indicators;
• Plan and execute work improvement processes and staff and equipment deployment;
• Review, plan and monitor training needs of staff and ensure competencies meet current cargo handling requirements;
• Regularly engage with airline customers to obtain feedback and develop follow-up plans to meet operational requirements;
• Monitor all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with airline customers;

Ensure compliance with audits, regulatory and quality frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISAGO); and

Keep abreast of new technology and automation to improve productivity and operational reliability and quality.

Key Requirements

Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a logistics and / or operations environment

Strong interest in operational work

An independent self-starter willing to accept accountability with a sense of urgency

Results-oriented, confident and resourceful

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
