Responsibilities
- Discharge your duties as WSHO officer in accordance to the WSH Act & Regulation
- To administer and implement an effective workplace safety and health management system in accordance with prevailing legislation
- Ensure compliance of operation with workplace safety and health regulations and statutory requirements
- Carried out Risk Assessments for In-House and Project Sites
- To investigate of any workplace accident and advise on the remedial measure to be taken to prevent any recurrence.
- Assist in promoting Workplace Safety and Health awareness among workers by organizing campaigns, training course, and etc
- Participate in safety committee inspection and meeting
- Conduct safety inspections regularly to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements
- To follow-up on necessary actions to ensure compliance with ISO standards and BizSafe
Requirements
Min Diploma in Engineering (Environmental, Health and Safety) or relevant fieldMOM Registered WSH OfficerECO (Environmental Control Officer) certificates is an advantage.Minimum 2 years of construction experienceClass 3 Driving LicenseGood Communication SkillsOther :
