About the role:

• Develop and execute export credit agency (ECA) finance and project finance (collectively Structured & Project Finance) business in the region
• Be a point person for Korean ECA finance transactions
• Closely work with Seoul Branch to develop business with Korean corporates in the region
• Help manage relationships with both internal (relationship bankers, credit, overseas branches) and external (clients, Structured Finance banks, advisors) stakeholders
• Participate in the entire credit origination, due diligence, documentation and execution process. This includes the assessment of credit risk and structuring; preparation of credit applications and manage documentation
• Monitor trends within the sectors and updated knowledge of the market and its effect on the portfolio/new business prospects

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in Structured/ECA Financing at an international bank or equivalent
• ECA Finance experience with Korean ECAs
• Sound credit and structuring skills to justify credit merits to internal and external stakeholders
• Familiar with financial modeling and quantitative analytical skills
• Attention to details
• Multi-tasking and proactive time management
• Must be able to work independently, driven, self-motivated and strong in interpersonal communication skills
• Strong team player
• Native Korean language speaker in order to deal with Korean ECAs
