E-Commerce Platform Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

The E-commerce Platform Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of Ask & Embla's e-commerce platform / s. This role involves defining and executing the strategic roadmap for conversion rate optimization and ensuring all platform-related KPIs are met. They will collaborate extensively with various cross-functional teams, including senior management, to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.

What You'll Do :

• Define and champion the strategic roadmap for conversion rate optimization (CRO), identifying key initiatives, opportunities, and priorities to enhance user experience and drive sales.
• Own and oversee all e-commerce platform performance KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, average order value, bounce rate, traffic quality, site speed), regularly analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Develop and lead a robust test-and-learn agenda, including A / B testing, multivariate testing, and personalization initiatives, to validate hypotheses and optimize user journeys.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog of optimization and development initiatives, working closely with IT / Development teams to ensure efficient execution based on business impact.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on the allocation of budget for e-commerce tools, technologies, and external services to support platform growth and innovation.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide insightful reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and future strategies.
• Work closely with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure alignment on platform initiatives and seamless execution.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce, CRO, and digital experience to inform strategic decisions.
