Job Description

Position Title : RF / Microwave Engineer (Biomedical Applications)
Working Location : West – Boon Lay
Working Hours : 5 days / Mon to Fri : 9AM – 6PM
Salary Package : Up to $6,000
Duration : Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Create and engineer microwave sensors and RF components tailored for biomedical applications.

Use electromagnetic simulation tools to model and refine antenna designs and microwave components.

Perform experimental testing and validation to ensure designs meet specifications and performance criteria.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate RF solutions into biomedical device systems.

Evaluate measurement data and offer technical suggestions to enhance design performance.

Maintain thorough documentation of design workflows, testing protocols, and results to comply with regulatory standards.

Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and emerging technologies in RF / microwave engineering and biomedical fields.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on RF / Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetics or a related field

Have demonstrated proficiency in using commercial electromagnetic simulation software such as ANSYS HFSS (preferred), COMSOL Multiphysics, and CST Studio Suite.

Must hands-on experience in designing antennas, microwave components, and RF circuits

Proven expertise in experimental testing, measurement techniques, and design verification using tools such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), S-parameter characterization, spectrum analyzers, and waveguide or anechoic chamber measurements.

Experience with biomedical device development / medical technology applications is an added advantage
