Food Product Development Lead
We are looking for an accomplished and driven Product Development Team Lead to spearhead our innovative product initiatives. This role demands deep expertise in food science, chemistry, microbiology, nutrition, and product development. The successful candidate will lead a team of product development professionals, driving strategy and execution to deliver high-quality, market-responsive products that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Define and execute comprehensive product development strategies that align with market demands and customer preferences
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and innovations within the instant noodle and beverage industries to maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage the full product development lifecycle, with particular emphasis on sourcing, selecting, and optimizing raw materials to enhance product quality.
- Oversee rigorous product testing and evaluation processes to ensure taste, texture, nutritional value, and overall product performance meet stringent standards.
- Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams, sharing insights on raw material functionality and its impact on product formulation.
- Serve as the company's representative in dealings with suppliers, manufacturers, and other external partners related to raw materials and production.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Nutrition, or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years' experience in product development, product development methodologies and lifecycle management.Experience in raw materials including flours, starches, fats and oils, flavors, sweeteners, and functional ingredients.Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with stakeholders in the China market.Demonstrated success in leading and managing product development teams.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across diverse teams.Office Location : West, Singapore
