Roles & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a hands-on Data Lead / Analytics & BI Manager to join our team and help drive business insights, manage our data infrastructure, and work closely with internal stakeholders and partners. This role blends technical capability with stakeholder management and will suit someone looking to step up into a lean team leadership role while remaining close to the data.

You’ll manage a small team (including offshore support), deliver high-quality dashboards and reports, and help the business make smarter, data-informed decisions. You should also be comfortable working across BI platforms and evolving data environments.

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to a small data team (analyst + offshore engineer)
  • Delegate tasks clearly, review output, and support team development
  • Ensure smooth communication across internal and external stakeholders
  • Step in on analytics work when needed – this is a hands-on role
  • Foster a collaborative and delivery-focused team culture

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Maintain and enhance dashboards, reports, and BI tools
  • Liaise with marketing, business development, and client servicing teams to understand reporting needs
  • Translate business requirements into scalable dashboards and meaningful insights
  • Troubleshoot issues, validate data outputs, and ensure reporting continuity
  • Support enhancements to BI systems, including redesign of dashboards and evolving KPI needs
  • Deliver clear insights to business users and external partners
  • Provide training on new dashboards and support user onboarding
  • Have experience in marketing analytics, CRM analytics and / or pricing analytics
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client-related data and reporting matters
  • Manage and resolve client inquiries, data issues, and enhancement requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and ensure expectations are met or exceeded
  • Coordinate cross-functional responses to client needs and proactively surface insights that add value
  • Data Engineering Support

  • Manage and maintain routine ETL tasks, data pipelines, and scheduled reloads
  • Coordinate with offshore engineer to ensure data quality and timely delivery
  • Participate in projects to improve data integration, modelling, and structure
  • Ensure proper documentation and version control for data processes
  • Operational Excellence

  • Track and respond to internal support requests and enhancement tickets
  • Maintain updated user documentation, data dictionaries, and glossary of metrics
  • Handle routine and ad-hoc reporting needs
  • Ensure access controls are maintained and usage monitored appropriately
  • Manage and prioritize competing projects and deliverables while maintaining project timelines and budgets
  • Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, inspiring and motivating diverse teams across onshore and offshore locations
  • Effective collaboration with business stakeholders, IT department, and offshore partners
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders

  • Passion for learning new technical tools and business concepts
  • Ability to work independently and resourcefully solve day-to-day issues
  • Strong background in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Maintain discretion with sensitive and confidential information
  • Job Specifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in Data, Computer Science, or a related field with 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or a related field
  • Strong SQL / Python skills and experience with BI tools (e.g. Apache Superset, Google Looker, Microsoft Fabric / Power BI, Tableau, etc.) as well as web analytics - Google Analytics 4
  • Comfortable working with evolving dashboards, KPIs, and business needs
  • Hands-on experience with data transformation and working across data pipelines
  • Exposure to stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration
  • A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Bonus : Experience working in environments where data tools or platforms were being upgraded or restructured
