Project Manager / Construction Manager @ TWRP / CWRP PUB - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for all project management and that includes conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of all project or contract documents so as to be familiar with every detail and / or requirements.
• Reporting to the Executive Director and overseeing HOD / Project Managers who coordinate teams to ensure that work is completed on time and make sure that works are allocated to them in an appropriate manner and are prioritized based on urgency and the needs of the customers.
• Provide excellent leadership to strategically manage risk and ensure each phase of work is started or completed on time.
• Able to meet project budgets through assessing and analyzing operational and financial risks that may be encountered in the execution of planned projects.
• In-charge of the designing and execution of construction strategies upon which the completion of different projects will be based.
• These strategies may deal with issues like mapping out guidelines for the selection of subcontractors / suppliers to execute projects and analyze their quotations.
• Authorise construction planning, programming and completion schedules.
• Authorise engagement of subcontractors, management of subcontractors work to achieve outcomes and all major subcontract variations .
• Monitor progress, ensuring that work quality and techniques are of high standard and report regularly on project performance and cost against company objectives.
• Evaluate sub-contractors / suppliers’ performance.
• Implement standard rules and regulations as well as upgrade and improve working methods.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years experience in supervision of major underground / PUB or LTA project.

Preferably with PUB DTSS, CWRP, TWRP reference

Degree in Civil Engineering accredited with Singapore PE Board
