Job description

Responsible for technical drawings of morecomplex / large

projects or overseesa team of drafters.Ensures that technical

drawings are prepared according to time schedule and conform to

specificationsfor construction

  • Supervises and

monitors the progress of shop drawings by team members for approval

  • submission;
  • Ensures the understanding and

    • compliance of drawings with standards and

  • specifications;
  • Ensures understanding of

    • project scope and requirements that impact accuracy of shop

  • drawings;
  • Prepares shop drawings and necessary

    • documentation submission to main contractors / architects,

  • etc;
  • Prepares and updates status of shop
  • drawing submission list for each project;

    • Highlights and discussesany discrepancies on items / materials with

  • relevant parties;
  • Assists subordinates in the
  • preparation of shop drawing details;

    • Co-ordinates and arranges structural and architectural inspections

  • with consultants;
  • Prepares shop drawing

    • schedule and submission to consultants for

  • approval;
  • Attends site meetings, progress and

    • design meetings to provide status updates and resolves design and

  • other issues;
  • Works closely with project team

    • members, clients and vendors to ensure timely completion

  • ofprojects;
  • Monitors and coaches the
  • performance of team members;
  • Promote steam

    • spirit and ensures good morale exists among team

  • members;
  • Any other duties asmay be

    • assigned
