Job Summary : The
Production Manager oversees all aspects of production operations to
ensure products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, on
time, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This
role involves managing people, processes, and resources to meet
business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous
improvement.
Key
Responsibilities :
Plan, organize, and control production schedules and
workflows to meet demand.
Monitor production
costs, wastage, and efficiency to ensure profitability.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety
regulations (e.g., SFA, NEA, HACCP).
Oversee
quality control processes, including raw material inspection,
in-process monitoring, and final product checks.
Manage and develop the production team, providing
training, coaching, and performance feedback.
Liaise with procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure
smooth supply chain operations.
Maintain
accurate production records and analyze data for process
optimization.
Drive process improvements, SOP
updates, and equipment maintenance
programs.
Skills &
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Production Management,
Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in manufacturing or food production
management.
Strong leadership,
problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and team management
abilities.
