Novahealth TCM Clinic is a professional Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) clinic dedicated to holistic health and wellness. We provide high-quality treatments such as acupuncture, Tuina, EMMA, BIXEPS and herbal prescriptions, and preventive care.
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic The Head of Operations – Retail Shops who is responsible for leading and optimizing the overall performance of all retail outlets. This role focuses on driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, ensuring superior customer experience, and managing budgets and resources effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a data-driven mindset, and proven experience in scaling retail operations profitably.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across all retail outlets to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable functioning.
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures, ensuring consistency in customer service and store presentation.
- Monitor store performance metrics and ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and goals.
2. Sales Growth & Business Development
Develop and execute strategic plans to increase footfall, conversion rates, and average transaction value.Identify sales trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities to improve product mix and store layout.Collaborate with marketing teams to design and roll out promotional campaigns that drive in-store sales.Set and track sales targets for each outlet, ensuring team accountability and performance follow-up.3. Budgeting & Financial Management
Prepare and manage annual operational budgets, including sales forecasts, expenses, and profitability targets.Analyze P&L statements for all outlets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for revenue improvement.Ensure optimal inventory management, minimizing shrinkage, wastage, and overstocking.4. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop area managers and store managers to achieve excellence in performance.Set KPIs for the operations team and ensure alignment with corporate goals.Drive a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.5. Process Improvement & Customer Experience
Implement operational excellence initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.Regularly review customer feedback and mystery shopper results to improve the shopping experience.Introduce technology-driven solutions for sales tracking, staff scheduling, and inventory control.6. Strategic Planning & Reporting
Provide senior management with regular performance reports, forecasts, and action plans.Contribute to long-term retail expansion plans, including site selection and store rollout strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, HR, supply chain) to align operations with overall business objectives.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred).Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in retail operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven track record in driving retail sales growth and managing large teams.Strong understanding of retail KPIs, merchandising, and financial management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Proficient in MS Office, ERP, and POS systems.Tell employers what skills you have
