Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director for our APAC Operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of the global immigration strategy for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration laws and regulations, exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record in executing immigration programs in a multinational environment, and a high level of technology aptitude to conceptualise and execute on the future needs of our practices as directed by the global immigration leadership team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement the global immigration strategy for the APAC region in alignment with the company's business objectives.
- Monitor KPIs against global best practices, focusing on the effectiveness and impact of immigration operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in immigration practices by exploring and implementing emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during the implementation of new technologies and processes, and develop effective communication strategies for stakeholders.
- Identify and nurture high-potential team members to build a pipeline of future leaders, creating mentorship programs focused on skills relevant to the GenAI landscape.
- Implement a customer-centric approach to immigration services, prioritising the needs of employees and clients, and gather feedback to refine processes.
- Deliver client solutions across service lines, ensuring that immigration services are integrated and aligned with broader organisational offerings.
- Leverage data to enhance efficiency, reduce processing times, and improve case management and tracking through technology solutions.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture while promoting cultural awareness and sensitivity in managing a diverse workforce across the APAC region.
- Build and maintain relationships with business partners and external vendors.
- Develop and deliver training programs on immigration policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on geopolitical and industry trends to continuously improve services.
- Collaborate with the technology team to integrate immigration processes with broader organizational systems and strategies.
- Utilise data analytics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in immigration management, with a focus on the APAC region.In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and processes in multiple APAC countries.Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Solid history of successful implementation and ongoing execution of large-scale client programsProficiency in data analytics to leverage insights for operational improvements is preferred.What We Offer :
