PROJECT MANAGER
(Project / Construction sector)
Responsibilities :
- Overall project planning, control and monitoring of project’s operations
- Lead the project team for the implementation and execution of works as according to planned schedule
- Schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations
- Detailed and meticulous in site planning / coordination to minimize errors in the process of completing the project
- Ensure efficient use of manpower, equipment, material and resources on site
- Ensure high level of site safety and housekeeping
- Ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved plans / drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements
- Involved in discussion on contractual matters and with Sub-Contractors, Consultants & Clients
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors ie. Consultants and Sub-Contractors / Suppliers for the flawless execution of all projects
- Manage sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery and good quality of work
- Conduct regular site safety meetings and implement safe site working conditions and environmental control measures
- Negotiate subcontractor deductions for project non-compliance and breaches
- Conduct internal meetings for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow-up meetings
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management
Requirements :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering or its equivalent degree recognized by PE BoardMinimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably experience in A&A project - government / commercial building (D & B) project and HDB BTO / private residential etcExcellent project management skillsPossess good leadership and organizing abilitiesOnly Singaporean need appliesTell employers what skills you have
