Roles & Responsibilities

PROJECT MANAGER

(Project / Construction sector)

Responsibilities :

• Overall project planning, control and monitoring of project’s operations
• Lead the project team for the implementation and execution of works as according to planned schedule
• Schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations
• Detailed and meticulous in site planning / coordination to minimize errors in the process of completing the project
• Ensure efficient use of manpower, equipment, material and resources on site
• Ensure high level of site safety and housekeeping
• Ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved plans / drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements
• Involved in discussion on contractual matters and with Sub-Contractors, Consultants & Clients
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors ie. Consultants and Sub-Contractors / Suppliers for the flawless execution of all projects
• Manage sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery and good quality of work
• Conduct regular site safety meetings and implement safe site working conditions and environmental control measures
• Negotiate subcontractor deductions for project non-compliance and breaches
• Conduct internal meetings for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow-up meetings
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management
