Job Description : Sonographer
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer : Should be able to perform the following –
- General Ultrasound studies including Abdominal USG, Small parts and OBS& GYN
- Vascular / Doppler studies- Peripheral Arterial & Venous studies and Carotid Ultrasound
that you are accredited to perform and produce images of diagnostic quality for radiological reports with due regard to patient welfare, clinical responsibility and effective use of technology
In charge of upkeep and maintenance of the imaging modalities that you operate, including weekly & monthly quality assurance tests, keeping records of all services performed by vendorMaintenance of inventory and ordering schedule for consumablesRecord keeping of the number of radiographic examinations performedAssist the Medical Director and the Radiologist in the research works carried out by the Centre for publication in medical journalsComplying with all directions of the Senior Management and use your best endeavor to promote the interests of the company and such related medical facilities and its related companies;Ensuring that you keep current all required certifications, licenses or other authorizations required for the performance of their obligations here under;To conduct oneself with utmost professionalism and diligence in best interest of the company and such related medical facilities and its related companies.Any other ad-hoc duties as assign by the Radiology Manager and Centre Manager or his / her nomineeRequirements
Diploma / Degree in Sonography or Medical Imaging Science.AHPC registration if have.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.5.5 working daysTell employers what skills you have
