Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with 2–3 years of experience to join us. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. You will support budgeting, auditing, and the month-end / year-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Process journal entries, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
4. Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
5. Prepare tax filings (GST / VAT, income tax, etc.) and ensure timely submission.
6. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
8. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
9. Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
10. Suggest process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 3 years or above of relevant accounting experience.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
5. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.).
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Good organizational and time management skills.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in order to co-operate with finance team in China.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
