Senior Electrical Engineer (Ref 25791)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and equipment using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks etc.).
• Technical lead for selected projects; lead a team of electrical / mechanical / network engineers in project design and delivery.
• Select and program PLCs and microcontrollers, design controls for electromechanical actuators, develop and program HMI.
• Conduct detailed analysis and simulation of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Document designs, processes, and system specifications clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger system / projects.
• Problem solving, troubleshooting of System and / or Sub System equipment faults, proposing modifications of System and / or Sub System.
• Evaluate and select electrical components based on performance, cost, and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations such as electrical safety standards and regulations. (SS638, SS555 etc.)
• Perform system validation, including testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Liaising with LEW for endorsements of designs and single line diagrams.
