Roles & Responsibilities

Medical Technologist (Blood Bank / Haematology / Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology)

Working hours : 3 rotating shifts

Salary : Up to $4200

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory test procedures (automated or manual) with minimal supervision.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new laboratory personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
• Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels of laboratory supplies; report any shortages promptly.
• Review and verify daily quality control (QC) results, escalating issues to the section manager when necessary.
• Check and ensure optimal performance of laboratory instruments; report any malfunctions or irregularities.
• Support flexible staffing requirements and participate in shift rotations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and participate in CAP proficiency testing , national proficiency testing , and inter-hospital QA programs .
• Participate in routine instrument maintenance and ongoing professional development or Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
• Build positive working relationships with laboratory colleagues and other hospital departments.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by management.
