Your Role

As an SAP MM Senior Consultant, you are expected to demonstrate professional knowledge and behavior on assignments, taking care of customers and activities with important attention to the team aspect. You are expected to work & deliver autonomously, coaching colleagues while working on customer and internal engagements.

You are required to provide enhancement implementation and support in the analysis, design, development, delivery, and maintenance of the MM modules of the SAP system, integrate and transform the processes with technology to help our clients achieve high performance.

Your Responsibilities

a. To provide guidance and solution expertise to support the functional and technical design / change by preparing the functional specifications, design and technical documents and / or change request documents for approval.

b. To provide solutions to the BUs and business requirements including effort estimation (configuration, workflow, interface, report, data mapping), change impact analysis and ensuring the technical integrity of the delivered solution.

c. To understand and study the user requirements, perform a feasibility study and propose sound solutions, and create functional specifications (business blueprints) and / or program specifications.

d. To perform system development work based on the specification. Conduct quality check, ABAP Code Review, quality testing and fulfil the tasks based on the specification before requesting for user acceptance test (UAT).

e. To prepare the functional, design and technical Specifications, conduct, UAT test cases, and cutover activities.

f. To troubleshoot system problems within MM / QM / WM and integration with other SAP modules or non-SAP systems, user operations support and ensure that user requirements are met.

g. To carry out the configuration of MM for the new setup. Work with a vendor or project manager on new integration with MM.

h. To facilitate and manage the integration of Ariba with SAP MM functions, and work with vendors to ensure compatibility and solution sustainability

i. To be involved in project implementation, to ensure the timeline for the project is being followed with no delay of assignment. In addition, you will be required to follow the SDLC documentation policy and will be involved in and responsible for all types of system documentation.

j. To manage system incident tickets / service requests to ensure SLA compliance and customer satisfaction. To carry out root-cause analysis, contribute to the knowledge base, and provide recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology.

k. To prepare knowledge transfer documents. Responsive attitude and Timely crisp status reporting.

About You

Your Knowledge, Skills and Qualification

• You should possess a Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any other tertiary or professional qualification.
• Knowledge in integration with non-SAP systems using PI and experience in SAP UI5 / Fiori will be an advantage.
• Excellent logical & analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience in preparation of Functional Specs, Design Specs, Technical Specs, UAT test cases, and cutover activities related to MM.
• Experience in integrating Ariba with SAP MM functions, leveraging on CIG and other integration solutions.
• Demonstrates Initiative, good working attitude and can work independently with minimum supervision and adhere to company policies.
• Skillset in handling design of technical security including table, report, program, and interface security for the production environment.
• Desirable to have a skillset in deploying solutions with SAP ERP using Ariba Cloud Integration.
