About the Role :
We are a well-established A1 General Building Contractor seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounting Manager to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently, ensure compliance, and contribute positively to the finance team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
- Handle full set of accounts for several companies
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
- Coordinate and assist with external audits and ensure audit schedules are up to date
- Assist with preparing annual financial statements and tax computations
- Manage GST submissions, and ensure compliance with all Singapore tax and statutory requirements
- Prepare payments
- Oversee the preparation of payment vouchers, billing, debit / credit notes
- Process employee expense claims
- Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts; manage cash flow needs
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, company secretary, internal stakeholders, and government agencies
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned
