Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description :
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and current network improvement / expanding
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, load balancers, switches
- Analyse problems, perform troubleshooting, and track problems through resolution
- Responsible for monitoring activities, such as device status and bandwidth usage
- When necessary, escalate problems to the appropriate stakeholders / principals / vendors
- Schedule and run periodic maintenance for network infrastructure at the data centre
- Plan and manage change request and / or maintenance activities for network operations including firmware patches
- Ensuring zero service level breaches and achieve 100% compliance with policy and procedure
- Perform Change Request, Service Request as assigned by team lead according to the SLA
- Manage Call ticket assigned by service desk according to the SLA
- Managing of network devices and perform firmware patching
- Managing subcontractors involved with network installation
- Work with other team for new implementation and troubleshooting
- Providing network reports and status for monthly SLA reports and other operations requirements
Requirements :
Minimum 4 years of experience working as a network engineer within the operations environmentPast working experience in CISCO ACI is an advantagePast working experience in Cloud environment is an advantageITIL certification will be an added advantageGood grasp of technical skills (network)Possess CCNA or CCNP certificationGood understanding and appreciation of network and system designSense of urgency for service performance issuesAble to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaroundAble to manage daily support tasks to meet stringent SLA requirementsExcellent scheduling and multitasking skillsGood analytical skills with ability to work with others to resolve problemsGood organization skills, with ability to properly document and track informationLocation : Ang Mo Kio
