Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope:

• Risk & Credit Management

  • Conduct credit risk assessments on customers and counterparties, considering financial, market, regulatory, and macroeconomic factors.

  • Monitor credit exposure, review transactions within approved limits, and report on overdues and policy breaches.

  • Recommend and implement risk mitigation measures, including credit insurance solutions.

  • Work closely with commercial teams to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.

• Trade Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable import/export controls, customs regulations, and international trade sanctions (including US OFAC).

  • Support implementation and maintenance of trade compliance systems and controls.

  • Conduct internal compliance reviews and investigate trade compliance breaches.

  • Act as liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors, and provide compliance guidance and training to staff.

• Governance & Support

  • Maintain adherence to company risk management and compliance policies and procedures.

  • Support business continuity planning, basic IT system backup, and corporate secretarial matters as required.

Requirement

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in risk management, credit risk, trade compliance, or related fields; experience in the trading industry is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, including US OFAC sanctions.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of IT systems and support, with good proficiency in MS Office applications.

• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in reporting.

• Strong multitasking ability and team-oriented mindset.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Other Information:

• Working Location: City Hall

• Working Days: Mon - Fri / Office Hour

• Salary: Up to $5000 per month + AWS + VB
