Job Overview
The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the purchasing activities of the organisation. This role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products and services at the most competitive prices. The ideal candidate will optimise procurement processes, manage vendor relationships, and work closely with various departments to meet the organisation's operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations and Data Maintenance
- Support the procurement end to end function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations. Act as an interface between suppliers and relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
- Maintain system integrity of supplier’s and product information in the ERP system and other database as required.
- Ensure strict quality control and compliance of suppliers with regard to the organisation’s quality standards and requirements.
Procurement Process and Performance Management
Responsible for the optimisation of the performance and operation of the procurement team through data driven decision making.Ensure sound procurement practices that supports the integrity of the organisation’s inventory management standards.Conduct market research backed by data and trend analyse to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products, prices, and terms.Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost analysis for senior management.Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with organisational needs and objectives.Tell employers what skills you have
