Job description

What the role is]

What you will be working on]

To provide technical support for practical sessions such as equipment set-up, material preparation and housekeeping after each lab session.
To teach / co-teach the practical classes and practical skillsets assessments
To supervise student projects and other student engagement activities.
To assist and carry out industry and consultancy projects.
To assist school TWSH work group for lab safety, audit, license control, chemical control and safety awareness
To assist in workday procurement requisition, asset tagging and checking, and budget monitoring and other acad admin duties. Procurement of materials and equipment for teaching and assigned projects.
To maintain and up-keep laboratories.

What we are looking for]

Qualification in chemical engineering, life sciences, food sciences or related fields

Experience in laboratory management, analytical instruments and testing laboratory would be an advantage.

Willing to learn and able to take multiple tasks

Good communication and interpersonal skills
