We are looking for a Landscaping Assistant Manager to join our team!

Job Summary :

The incumbent will assist in the planning, design, and maintenance of landscapes of the hotel, apartments, residences and public spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape design principles, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Landscape Maintenance :

  • Assist in the daily maintenance of landscapes, including pruning, planting, and irrigation system management.
  • Ensure all landscapes are well-manicured and meet quality standards.

2. Project Management :

  • Assist in the planning and execution of landscape projects, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

    • 3. Horticulture Expertise :

  • Provide horticultural expertise and recommendations on plant selection, soil management, and pest control.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in landscape management.

    • 4. Team Management :

  • Supervise and train landscape maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment.

    • 5. Communication :

  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and submit reports, invoices, and other documentation as required.

    • Requirements :

  • Education : Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field.
  • Experience : At least 2 years of experience in landscape management or a related field.

    • Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape design principles.
  • Project management and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications : Relevant certifications, such as ISA Certified Arborist, Certified practicing horticulturist or Certified Park Manager, are an advantage.

  • Work Environment : Office and outdoor settings, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands : Ability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy objects, and work in physically demanding conditions.
