Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Engineer to manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our data center facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building technologies, mechanical and electrical services, as well as experience in data center facility and vendor management.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the operations and maintenance of data center facilities, ensuring all systems are running efficiently.
  • Oversee the mechanical, electrical, and building systems, ensuring they meet the performance and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors to manage and optimize service contracts, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Coordinate and ensure proper project execution for new installations or upgrades.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the facility.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in facility management, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards are met.
  • Track and monitor facility performance, ensuring optimal uptime and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal teams to plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.

Requirements :

  • Strong knowledge of building technologies, mechanical and electrical systems, and facilities management.
  • Proven experience in data center facility management and vendor management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and track job progress effectively.
