About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and engaged third party service providers to perform servicing and cash replenishment on the SSMs
  • Monitor the performance of the third-party service provider to ensure all service levels are met.
  • Drive initiatives to improve the performance of the SSMs
  • Perform analysis of data to improve process and lower cost.
  • Conduct monthly brief to management on the performance of the SSMs.
  • Manage various stakeholders that are involve in the running of the SSMs in UOB.

Job Requirements

  • A recognized university degree, with minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in excel VBA and other data analytics tools will be a plus
  • Able to work independently and in a team
