Roles & Responsibilities
The P&M Engineer’s primary role is to assist the P&M Manager in the operation of the Plant & Machinery Department for leasing, servicing & maintenance and deployment of heavy machineries in compliance with policies and procedures.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows :
- Plan and supervise teams of machinery operators and workers in carrying out deployment of machinery, site operations, maintenance works for machinery & equipment both in workshop and on sites.
- Attend to machinery breakdowns and provide resolutions.
- Liaise and coordinate with customers and vendors for the execution of site works.
- Manage site testing and commissioning new machinery and equipment.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with customers or Main Contractors for all site operational matters.
- Ensure site operations complied with all safety regulations and requirements set out by the Main Contractors at site.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education : Diploma or equivalent.Experience : Minimum 3 years of relevant construction site experience preferably in machinery rental operations.Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all internal and external stakeholdersGood communication and interpersonal skillsIndependent and detailed orientedGood understanding of concrete pump and station pump will be most desired.Value Add of Position
