Senior Legal Manager (Fund Management)

Overview

We seek an accomplished in-house legal counsel, with extensive experience in fund management, regulatory compliance, cross border transactions and business / commercial functions.

You will be joining a team to grow and develop the legal and compliance functions in South-East Asia with the opportunity to be involved in global transaction-structuring projects.

Responsibilities

• Support all legal and compliance functions of a fund management company.
• Review and manage the full documentation for the setup and launch of fund offerings.
• Review and draft transaction documents related to asset management and business transactions.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research across jurisdictions and advise on implications for fund structures, products, and client types.
• Lead the design, formation, and negotiation of customized fund structures or investment structures for UHNW and institutional investors.
• Support regulatory compliance and manage ongoing compliance matters related to fund management activities.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management to meet business and regulatory requirements.
