Roles & Responsibilities
This position is responsible for ensuring that our products and processes comply with quality, safety and environmental regulations, consistently meeting established quality standards, customer specifications and on-time delivery.
You will play a vital part in identifying and resolving quality issues, contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives, and upholding our reputation for excellence.
1. Process Design and Optimization : Developing new processes or improving existing ones to boost metrics like efficiency, yield, capacity, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Troubleshooting : Serving as the technical expert to diagnose and fix critical issues, using tools like Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
3. Documentation : Creating and maintaining critical process documents like PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI).
4. Contract Manufacturing Management : Leading or supporting new project and existing product to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
5. Collaboration : Working with various departments / functions (Engineering, Quality, Project / Product Management, Supply Chain Operation) to ensure smooth operations.
6. Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 8D problem-solving, and statistical process control (SPC).
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field. Diploma with at least 5 years relevant working experience may apply.
2. Experience : Requires practical, hands-on experience, which needs to be specified in terms of years and industry. (e.g. At least 2 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing)
3. Methodologies : Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks like Lean Manufacturing, FMEA and Six Sigma.
4. Strong understanding of process control methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., SPC, MSA, Process Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
5. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
