about the client

Our client is a 3PL with a strong focus on the tech sector, is building an Automation Hub in Singapore to spearhead its expansion in Asia. They are looking for a pioneering team of one Automation Manager and two Automation Engineers. Ideal candidates will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be willing to take a hands-on approach. The first six months will include training at their overseas headquarters.

job description :

• Lead Automation Strategy : Drive the strategy and execution of automation pilots across warehousing, transport, and support functions.
• Evaluate & Implement Technology : Select and deploy mechanical automation technologies like robotics, conveyor systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Champion Process Automation : Champion RPA, digital workflows, and AI-driven solutions to automate key processes.
• Develop Business Cases : Build strong business cases for automation investments, including ROI modeling and risk assessments.
• Lead Project Delivery : Establish and lead project teams to deliver automation initiatives from concept to deployment.
• Manage Stakeholder Partnerships : Partner with IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
• Track & Improve Performance : Track key performance metrics and continuously improve automation deployments.
• Innovate & Stay Current : Stay ahead of emerging trends in logistics automation to identify future opportunities.
