Job Description

Position Title : Credit Officer / Loan Officer
Working Location : Chinatown
Working Hours : 5.5 days (Weekdays - 11 am to 7 pm; Weekend 12 pm – 6 pm)
Salary Package : Basic + Commission
Duration : Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

Assist walk-in applicants with loan applications, collaborate with business partners, and utilize external resources for referrals.

Evaluate loan applicant eligibility and creditworthiness before proceeding with approvals.

Efficiently process transactions such as loan drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixings, billings, repayments, and fee collections.

Support remittance and deposit placement activities.

Conduct AML screenings and manage pre and post-transaction handling.

Respond promptly and accurately to queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all loan files.

Perform daily reconciliations, audit confirmations, and compile management and regulatory reports.

Execute additional duties as required.

Diploma / Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years experience in Loan Operations or Credit Administration.

Solid understanding of financial regulations, industry guidelines, and best practices.
