Project Manager is responsible for the managing and implementing of engineering projects with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer’s requirements. The incumbent is also responsible for projects resource scheduling, tracking, risk management and quality assurance.
What will you do?
Project & Service Management
- Lead, deliver and maintain projects within time, scope and cost
- Ensure project delivery quality and safety regulations.
- Plan & establish project schedules, quality plans, budgets, and communication and risk management plans
- Manage issues arising out of scope definition and disputes that impacted scope, schedule and cost
- Manage issues arising from integration of various components of the project, e.g. hardware, software installation, testing, business process review, redesign, application development, migration and data conversion etc
- Monitor and report service status of system; escalate of incident, exceptions and provide timely status update to the relevant parties.
- Manage project financials, ensuring project cost / revenue forecast is done accurately
- Oversee the implementation of the project with regard to schedules, budget, manpower and quality
Resolve project overrun issues
Track project progress and report to Senior Management and CustomerManage resources in terms of mobilising resources during different periods of time from team to team to maximise productivity or minimise wastageLead the project and service team on smooth project transition to operation in accordance to customer requirement and processes.Manage project operation and ensure service level is maintained to the customers’ expectation without financial penalty and security incident due to negligent or lack of awarenessPrepare and develop project documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs) for both turn-key and maintenance projects.Customer / Vendor / Stakeholder Management
Manage contracts and subcontractorsEffectively engaged stakeholders in project decisions and executionBuild long-term customer relationships by anticipating and exceeding customer’s expectationNegotiate with customers on change control mechanism to meet schedules and prioritize changes based on business needsStrong customer-service orientationTeam Management
Work cohesively, lead, guide, manage and motivate the projects’ team members in delivering quality project works, eliminating project exceptions and delighting the customersPlan for optimal use of resources across teams comprising of Project and Technical competenciesManage performance review of team and maintain open communication with team for feedback on continuous improvementEnsure high individual and staff billabilityThe ideal candidate should possess :
3-5 years of project management experiencePreferably Minimum 3 years’ experience in implementation, maintenance & facility management of wide range of electronics & info-comm systems that encompass Communications, Navigational, Radar Surveillance competencies.Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and compliance requirements applicable to mission-critical systems, ensuring adherence to legal and industry standards.Excellent communication skills to convey cybersecurity requirements clearly, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates to stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity in the delivery of the mission-critical system.Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniquesAble to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationshipAble to travel as and when requiredProven track record in assuming overall responsibilities and managing large scale projectsExperience in agile implementation as scrum masterPreferably a Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalentWe are driven by our AEIOU beliefs—Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity—and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
