• Oversee the accounting function, including managing the daily operations, maintaining accounting systems and records in accordance to SFRS / IFRS and internal reporting requirements, preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, reviewing work prepared by the Accounting Specialist
• Manage treasury functions including payments, monitor cash flow position and ensure healthy cash flow forecast
• Oversee tax function and ensure compliance, including review of tax schedules, timely statutory filings and relevant documentation
• Manage the annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting as well as adequate risk management including appropriate documentation
• Implement process excellence projects to improve efficiency, enhance internal controls and compliance including process diagnostics and use of technologies
• Work closely with functional departments to support and ensure smooth implementation of new business activities
