Responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of construction and installation within a pharmaceutical facility, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations.Site Supervision and Inspection : Monitoring the installation of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) on-site, ensuring they are installed correctly according to drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.Quality Control : Inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards, documenting findings, and reporting any deviations.Progress Monitoring : Tracking the progress of mechanical works, identifying potential delays, and reporting them to the relevant parties.Documentation : Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material lists, test results, and inspection reports.Coordination : Liaising with other trades, contractors, and the project management team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of works.Compliance : Ensuring all mechanical works comply with relevant regulations, safety standards (e.g., BCA regulations), and the terms of the contract.Testing and Commissioning : Assisting with the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, including preparing documentation and coordinating with relevant parties.Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in site supervision and quality control.
- Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and safety standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
