Roles & Responsibilities
Our client is a prominent player in the marine asset / shipping operations sector with a growing presence in Asia and other global markets. Serving critical industries such as renewables and infrastructure, the company is seeking a capable Senior Finance Manager to oversee financial operations related to a fleet of assets. Based in Singapore, this role will lead a lean finance team and serve as a key business partner to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of finance professionals, vessel accountants, managing asset-specific reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions to stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison with, addressing their financial reporting requirements and ensuring clear communication of key information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and account for revenue streams, supporting timely and accurate billing and recovery activities.
- Deliver periodic reporting on receivables and financial performance, including analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
- Provide strategic financial insights to inform business decisions, connecting operational activities with financial outcomes.
- Conduct variance analysis and work closely with finance leadership to monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Mentor and develop team members, identifying growth opportunities and addressing skills gaps through structured development efforts.
Requirements :
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., CPA / CA) preferred.Proven experience in managing finance operations within asset-heavy or project-based industries (e.g., shipping, offshore, energy, logistics).Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of mentoring small to mid-sized finance teams, with strong stakeholder management experienceExperience with ERP Accounting systems; IFS and Anaplan would be an added advantageProficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management.Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and cross-border environment.Suitable candidates, please email your resume to edward@theedgepartnership.com.
